  13.     The once high flying impressionist market may have lost momentum at auctions this year, but furniture and the decorative arts kept right on chugging along. Entertainment memorabilia in particular showed plenty of strength among collectors. All in all, auction houses, the great recyclers of people's goods, didn't fare too badly during this recession year.
